Sardar Sohrab Khan was the famous chief of the Domki tribe. All Baloch Tribes called him Sardar-E-Sardaran.
Khan Sahib Ali Bilawal Khan Domki of Bakhshapur was also a royal person During British Raj.
Sardar Chakar Khan Dombki, Chief of the Dombki tribe and he was a great person.
He died on October 30, 2006

According to Dombkis their tribe's name as taken from the sea namely "Darya-e-Dombak" which is located in western Balochistan (now in Iran). Their forefathers belonged here and migrated to Lahri and other districts of Pakistan.
Molayi Sheedi also supports the view that Dombkis have migrated from the Area of Dombak (makran) to the region of Lahri (Tehsil of Distt Sibbi).
Ghulam Sarwar Khan Dombki supports this very view and tells that the valley of Dombak is located in Iran (ancient western Balochistan) and the people who had lived there were known as Dombki.
Even Mir Gul Khan Nasir writes "there as Stream let in Iran which is called "Dombak". This Clan (Dombki) choose this Stream-let as their home for this reason they were named Dombki.
There are four major Clans of the Dombki: Mirozaee ميروزهى, wazeeraniوزيرانى , Brahmani براهماني, and Muhmdani مهمداني and clans are Baghdar, Jaroi, Denari, Derkhani, Gabol

It is a very famous historical incident that when Chakar was prepared to fought a battle against Mir Gawhram Khan Lashari, at that time Chakar's mother forbid Chakar to fight against Lasharis but Chakar did not accept to step back from his decision then his mother told him that
"You are proud on your brave commanders and cousins but let me see your cousins after the battle"
Coincidentally these both cousins and brave commanders were martyred by Lasharis in battle. Lashari cut the throat of Malik Meeran, took it back to their women, and showed them with order to give birth such braves.
When Dombkis defeated the Lasharis, Dombki's built a town 6 miles away from "Bhaag" city and name it "Fatehpur", whose ruins can still be seen & are famous by the name of "Baam-E-Chakar".
In Sindh they are settled in Bakhshapur, Kashmore, Kandhkot, Dadu, Jhangaar, Jacobabad, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Karachi etc.
Dombki as in population they are approx 4lac in numbers and their Headquarters is at "Lahri" disst Sibbi, where still the Sardar of Dombki's lives. Now the Sardar of the Domki is sardar sarfraz khan domki

RIND, AND LASHAR are two main tribes from which all Baloch came into being. From the very era of Mir Chakar Rind , Dombki are known as the office of whole Baloch tribe.According to Dombkis their tribe's name as taken from the sea namely "Darya-e-Dombak" which is located in western Balochistan (now in Iran). Their forefathers belonged here and migrated to Lahri and other districts of Pakistan.
Molayi Sheedi also supports the view that Dombkis have migrated from the Area of Dombak (makran) to the region of Lahri (Tehsil of Distt Sibbi).
Ghulam Sarwar Khan Dombki supports this very view and tells that the valley of Dombak is located in Iran (ancient western Balochistan) and the people who had lived there were known as Dombki.

Malik Meeran & Malik Mir Rehan were cousins of Chakar-E-Azam & his faithful commanders.It is a very famous historical incident that when Chakar was prepared to fought a battle against Mir Gawhram Khan Lashari, at that time Chakar's mother forbid Chakar to fight against Lasharis but Chakar did not accept to step back from his decision then his mother told him that
