development.
Platforms 1 and 2 share the same island platform. Space was reserved for the platforms of the East Kowloon Line when this station was built in the 1970s. This can be seen behind the advertising panels for each platform. The reserved platforms are rugged rocks/stones which remain untrimmed behind the advertising panels. This station will also be a station on the proposed Sha Tin to Central Link
