The park is open from May to mid-September.

The cold climate in the winter season has not proved conducive to attracting viable numbers visitors to DeWolfe Point State Park outside the spring and summer months.

Facilities offered by the park include a gazebo, a boat launch and docks, cabins, fishing, picnic tables, and a campground with tent and trailer sites. The park has notable views overlooking Lake of the Isles.
