Description

Deary is a small rural farming and logging town located 24 miles east of Moscow and 43 miles northeast of Lewiston, Idaho. It has 2 schools, Bovill Elementary - grades k-3 and Deary schools - Elementary: grades 4 thru 6 and Deary Jr-Sr High. It is a quiet community that definitely has a small town feel but is not to far from "town" (Moscow) to be able to do shopping and work outside the town of Deary. Deary is located at the base of Potato Mountain, or as the locals call it, "Spud Hill" and close to outdoor recreation, including camping and fishing: between Spring Valley Reservoir and Moose Creek.
