The school's campus is located in the town centre, very close to Wigan bus station and the main Post Office sorting office
. It can be reached easily by bus and train. The majority of the school is within 1970 buildings, but the C-block quadrangles were part of the original All Saints School. Later additions such as the D-block and sports hall were built more recently.
The Deanery have recently received a new Head-Master, Stephen Brierley- previously Head-Master in an all-girls High School in Liverpool, Archbishop Blanch.
The Deanery High School also has a 6th form college; for students studying a range of A levels. However some of the former High School students opt to go to other colleges in the area, such as Winstanley College
and St John Rigby College.
