The name of Deal or No Deal
in Chinese
is 一擲千金, a 4-character phrase literally translated as 'Stake a thousand pieces of gold in one throw' (一 = one, 擲 = throw/cast, 千 = thousand, 金 = gold). Metaphorically, this can mean "Throw away money like dirt" or "Spend money like water". At the same time, 擲 has the same pronunciation of 擇, which means to choose, so there is another implication meaning of "to make a decision which related to thousands of money".
The set is identical to the US version, but the show uses the Miljoenenjacht
theme tune and the sound effects are from Deal Ya No Deal
.
