David Bereit is the national campaign director of “40 Days for Life,” which he helped found in
Bryan/College Station, Texas, area in 2004.

Bereit moved to Washington, D.C., in 2005. He served as executive director of the American
Life League and national director of Stop Planned Parenthood before accepting the post of
leading the national 40 Days for Life campaign.

He has appeared in support of the pro-life movement on a variety of major television networks,
including the three major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS and NBC); Fox News; and Home Box
Office (HBO). He also has appeared on countless radio programs and has been featured in more
than 100 U.S. newspapers – including USA Today, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles
Times.
