Dario G is the name of a dance music

. Despite popular belief the group are not named after the manager of Crewe Alexandra, Dario Gradi
but changed their name from Dario to Dario G after being threatened with legal action from an artist of the same name. Co-founder Paul Spencer said they added the G as a last minute thing copying Kenny G as the group needed a quick new name and the similarity to Gradi was a complete co-incidence. Its founder members are Paul Spencer, Scott Rosser and Stephen Spencer (the Spencers are not related), although Paul Spencer is the only remaining member of the trio. Paul Spencer is a lifelong Stoke City supporter.
