He co-directed the short film "COLE" which won Best Actor in a short film during the 2007 Playhouse West Film Festival.

In 2010, he was in a State Farm commercial.

Early Life

Danso was born in the Jane and Trethewey public housing area of Toronto, Ontario. His parents divorced when he was 2 and he was raised with his working mother. His father is from Jamaica and his mother was born and raised in Canada. He moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia at the age of 12 and immersed himself in sports. He played soccer, basketball and was an award-winning track star in Jr. High. At the age of 15 he moved to Los Angeles to live with his father and began to pursue acting. A friend in his high school english class introduced him to his acting teacher/manager who got him connected with an agent that he's continued to have throughout his career. He quickly booked his first job filming a shoe commercial working alongside Charles Barkley and quickly landed his first series regular role on the NBC show 'Hang Time'. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychobiology.
