Daniel Kamihira White

Daniel Kamihira White is an American magician, magic creator, and television producer.
Daniel first became interested in magic at the age of 10 when his father showed him an old poster of the magician Kellar. While growing up in Philadelphia, Daniel fed his interest by working in a local magic store and was influenced by the older generation of magicians he would come into contact with daily. Daniel attended Saint Joseph's Preparatory School and then Temple University where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and studied painting, anthropology, and art history.
Daniel moved to New York in 2002 where he began working with American illusionist and endurance artist David Blaine
. Alongside famed magic creators such as Paul Harris
, Bob Smith, Danny Garcia, William Kalush and Michael Ammar, Daniel served as Head Magic Consultant and http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2341267/# producer for two of Blaine’s two hour prime time ABC specials.
Biography
A native of Philadelphia he is the son of Ben Kamihira, a well known figurative artist, and Holly White, a nurse. He is also the brother of restauranteur Owen Kamihira.Daniel first became interested in magic at the age of 10 when his father showed him an old poster of the magician Kellar. Accomplishments
- In September 2007, Daniel White performed as the official magician for P. Diddy's "White Party" held at his East Hampton home. The event was attended by such guests as Mariah Carey, Lil' Kim, Busta Rhymes and the Olsen twins.
- Daniel is a founding artist and creative consultant for theory11.com an online magic community, and resource for new magical creations. Dan has been consulting on magic tricks released by Theory 11 for the past 2 years.
- Daniel White is a founding member of the show “Curiosidades” created by Bj Bueno, which performs annually in the Dominican Republic. Curiosidades is presented in the Dominican Republic's most prestigious theater - Teatro Le Fiesta. Dan, along with the other members of the "Curiosidades" team performed on numerous national television shows in the country and took part in an effect where the team collectively made time stop.

- In 2010 Daniel traveled to Nepal for three weeks to film a special he created with Bj Bueno. Daniel was accompanied by his magic producers Seth Rovner and Michael Ammar. Currently Daniel is in the post production phase for this new television show set to air on the Discovery Channel in 2011.
- On June 29, 2011, Daniel's first tv show titled "The Supernaturalist" aired on the Discovery Channel.
