The "Cryptorchid" video uses scenes from Begotten
, with new scenes filmed including Manson to replace the original entity depicted in the film. It was meant to be screened at live performances, during costume changes and intermissions, but this plan did not suffice because the band fell through payment for the projection on the Dead to the World Tour. The footage of death and decrepit things shot in fuzzy black and white gave way for its ban from MTV
