 to promote hand washing habits among children. The animated series was created to augment the educational material on health and hygiene. Commander Safeguard is a great example of how private sector brains can contribute to public sector good.

Till now, 9 episodes(excluding two independence day special episodes) of 15 to 20 minutes have been aired on many Pakistani TV channels.
Its one of the most popular local TV shows for children in Pakistan.

In 2007, it was adopted in Mexico as Capitan Escudo.
The response was over whelming, beating sponge bob cartoon in popularity ratings.
