Story

A kindhearted man has all he could ever ask for, a noble and loyal wife and a most cheerful and attractive daughter. Life, however, is not always predictable and the wife fell gravely ill, eventually dying. The man then marries a new woman, who brings along her two awkward daughters who treat the man's girl with cruelty and selfishness. When the man leaves on a business trip, the woman and her daughters name the girl, "Cinderella" and treat her like a maid, forcing her to dress in rags and do all the housework. Life turns around for the girl the day a grand ball is announced in which the prince will choose his bride. After her stepmother and stepsisters abandon her, and with the help of a Fairy Godmother, Cinderella attends the glorious ball and wins the heart of the prince. However, she leaves at midnight after remembering a warning her fairy godmother had given her before she left, leaving behind one glass slipper.
