Winter is an avid traveller and has reportedly visited over 30 countries over the past 5 years. He currently resides on the Gold Coast with his family.

He is currently in the early pre-production stages of producing a travelogue style television series.

Winter has also been involved in charitable work, recently being the face of the non-for-profit organisation Ark’d (Acts of random kindness), which promotes positivity and kindness to others.
