and broadcaster. Originally a History teacher at Barry Comprehensive school. His recent TV credits include Easy Ryder - Chris Corcoran's Guide To The Ryder Cup (Ryder Cup 2010), Wales and The Other Five Nations - The England Game, Wales and The Other Five Nations - The Story So Far (The Six Nations 2011) and Wales On Wheels (2011) all for BBC1 Wales.

Chris, better known as Korkey, is Rhod Gilbert’s co-host every Saturday morning at 11am on The Rhod Gilbert Show on BBC Radio Wales. Of the programme he says “I love it. I can’t believe I get paid for talking rubbish every Saturday with one of the funniest people in the country who also happens to be my mate. My funniest moment so far is when Rhod and I were talking about a mouse in the house and I ended up role-playing a mouse in a restaurant ordering Penne Arrabiata with Rhod as the waiter. It’s the most I’ve laughed on air, although in fairness you probably had to be there".

Chris, with comedian Greg Davies (C4 The Inbetweeners) is the writer/performer of the Radio Wales sit-com Those That Can't. Steffan Rhodri, who plays Glyn Morgan in the third series (Aug 2011) has called it "The funniest Welsh sit-com since Gavin & Stacey".

Along with Welsh comedian Elis James he also regularly performs in Chris Corcoran's Committee Meeting a live comedy show at The Ponty Muni an arts centre in Pontypridd. Elis James plays caretaker of the Club Rex Jones a post-Marxist, health and safety obsessed old man. Chris plays Chairman of the Club, Mr. Chairman. Social Club FM is a pilot spin-off of the show (broadcast in August 2011) for BBC Radio Wales.

In the spring of 2010 Chris took a stand up show What Goes On Tour, Stays on Tour on a tour of Wales and in August of the same year he took a revised version of the show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
