Integrated Engineering program after 10th

After Class X, students can take the three years Diploma program in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering and thereafter can be awarded a diploma by Chitkara University. On completion of the diploma program, the student transfers to the 2nd year of Chitkara University's Engineering degree program. Engineering program after Class 12th

A student can opt for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) course in:

Note : Some of the given courses are planned but yet to be implemented. The duration of these programs is 4 years(min).

Integrated Programs in Engineering after Class 12th

A student can opt for :
  • BE (Computer Science Engineering) and MBA
  • BE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) and MBA
  • (BE / ME) in Computer Science and Engineering
  • (BE / ME) in Electronics and Communication Engineering


The duration of these programs are 4 to 5 years

Engineering Program after Diploma

A student can opt for either 6 years Diploma and Integrated program or 3 year Diploma program. On completion of the diploma program in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering, a student can opt for three-year Engineering Program, in which, the student will be transferred to their respective Engineering branch.

Computer Applications Program

This includes a three-year Master of Computer Applications degree after completion of graduation. The duration of the program is 3 years.

Chitkara Business School

Core courses - the core courses are covered in four terms with the bulk of it covered in the first three terms. During this period, students take courses in general management and major functional areas, such as marketing, finance and accounting, operations management, organization behaviour, human resources and strategic management. They are also exposed to economics, behavioral sciences, business intelligence, quantitative methods and decision sciences.

Summer internship - after the culmination of the first three terms, the students go for an industry internship with an organization for about three months. It is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the academic program. An evaluation report is prepared by the industry on the capabilities of the student.

In the second year, the students take elective/optional courses and can specialize in :
  • Finance
  • Marketing


The university runs HR courses to enable the students capable of pursuing a career in HR.

Chitkara School of Mass Communication

The school offers a three-year Bachelor of Mass Communication course after completion of class 12th, and a two-year Master of Mass Communication course after completion of graduation in any discipline.

School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

The objective of the M.Pharm. program is to develop students, over a period of two years through industrial training, research and academic exercises to meet the requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.

The program is of 24 months duration divided into four semesters, and is based on lectures, presentations, interactions and research based practicals culminating in projects undertaken by students during their second year.

Chitkara George Brown

Chitkara University and George Brown College (Canada) are offering a 3 years Bachelors in fields of Computer Applications, Hotel Management and Catering. The first 2 years of the program is offered at Chitkara University campus in India and the last year is offered at George Brown College, Toronto (Canada).
