H.O.W.L. is the acronym for what the students follow behaviorally at Centennial Middle. H.O.W.L. stands for Honor, Order, Wisdom, and Leadership. Honor at Centennial is being respectful and using manners. Order is for safety and movement around the school. Wisdom stands for learning, problem solving

is the most important behavioral skill at Centennial, and it stands for owning your behavior, being responsible for yourself, setting examples, and being accountable for your actions. Centennial has different H.O.W.L. procedures throughout the school. These skills students keep for the rest of their lives.

Houses

There are four houses in CCMMS: the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade houses as well as X-house. Each grade level house has two entrances that lead down two hallways. The hallways have classrooms on one side and on the other side there are lockers. In the middle of each grade level house there is a wide area call a den where all students meet in the morning. The grade level houses also have a science lab. The X-house is where all the electives are held. It has the same layout as the others without a den, lockers or science lab. The gym is across the hall from the X-house. The teachers and their electives in the X-house are:

Teams at Centennial are groups of two or four teachers; the houses have two to four teams. Each team has 50-100 students, with teachers instructing, math and/or science, language arts and/or social studies. The teams and their teachers are:
