Cedar Creek Mine Ride is one of two roller coasters at Cedar Point to utilize two separate lift hills, the other being Iron Dragon. Cedar Creek Mine Ride was originally built to handle up to six trains at once but currently operates with three.

Opened in 1969, Cedar Creek Mine Ride has given over 62 million rides in its 4 decades of service. Considered tame by today's standards, the ride is still very popular with small children and families.
