History

On 1942, the occupation by the Japanese Imperial forces was landed the town of Catarman, Camiguin.

On 1945, the liberation by the Filipino troops of the 6th and 10th Infantry Division of the Philippine Commonwealth Army was landed the town of Catarman, Camiguin was helping the guerrilla resistance fighters against the Japanese forces during the Battle of Camiguin at the end of World War II
