Camden Haven High School (CHHS) opened in 2000. A united school culture has been developed by establishing across school management, curriculum and special programs working teams. The school was formed as an amalgamation of the secondary schooling at Kendall
Central School, now Kendall Public School, and a distance education centre at Port Macquarie

Face-to-face students are drawn from the local Camden Haven community and distance education students enrol from the Central Coast
to Coffs Harbour
and inland from the New England Highway

s. The school also runs Distance Education (DE) courses for Face-to-Face students when the Face-to-Face class numbers are too low.
CHHS has a strong reputation in achieving significant results, particularly in the Performing Arts and Sport.
Being a large and comprehensive high school, over 120 teachers attend the school each day, including 3 Deputy Principals and 20 Head Teachers. Currently the Principal is Mr Margaret Hutchinson. Previous Principals are Mrs Greg Hyde and Mr Beverley Theobald.
