This time around, the game is one of survival rather than hunting. The player takes a role of a famous hunter trying to find out who or what killed his best friend by traveling through many different types of terrain. Just like the first game, the hunter has a limited amount of energy, and can be injured which results in failure. In this game there are many weapons, including handgun

Plot

The game begins in Alaska

, where the main character practices and then hunts Whitetail deer. As you progress along, you fight a Cougar and a Grizzly Bear

. After this, the level ends. You then start in another area of Alaska, fighting wolves, another mountain lion, and more wolves until you reach the end. After a large fight against wolves and then a Grizzly in the next level, you are instructed to head up the nearby ridge, fighting wolves and another mountain lion along the way. Then use a lever action rifle to kill counter attacking wolves and save Hugh Andrews, your guide. After that, you return to Hugh, dodging booby traps, and fighting wolves and a final mountain lion, you return to Hugh and fight more wolves as you reach the next level. In the beginning of the next level, you fight your way toward a bear cave, where you met the Grizzly earlier and then meet with Hugh's niece and nephew. Soon, you are instructed to bait the Grizzly with Boar

 meat. After you kill the Grizzly, you progress to Africa

s attacking. Using your weapons, you kill the two lions and then fight the alpha male. After you kill the male, the level ends. In this level, you fight lions in a truck. After that, you fight lions on foot, then a hippo

 and more lions until you reach Hamisi's wife. There, you fight two lionesses and one lion that jumps out at you. After you kill the lion, the level ends. Hamisi will lead you to the hunter's camp, fighting hyenas until you arrive at the poacher's camp. In a cutscene

, a giant wild boar. After you kill the Hogzilla, you fight your way back to the chopper, where you do more sniping from the helicopter. After that, the level ends. You join Wirake and you fight wolves, polar bear

s, and a final tribe of boars. After that, you join Benedek and his poachers. In another cutscene, Big Grimm, a giant male polar bear, attacks. You have to fight the bear. After that, you rejoin Wirake and Reginald in another cutscene. Suddenly, a Yeti

Biological inaccuracies

There are a few minor biological inaccuracies that occur in the game. Generally, the density of game is unrealistically high. The first specific inaccuracy encountered in the game is that white-tailed deer

, Wild boar and Cougar do not live in Alaska. In Africa, the cobras are clearly shown to be spectacled on the back of the hood when you kill them but this is a trait of the Indian cobra

, not African ones. Once you hunt in India, the spectacles can be considered accurate. The Indian rhinoceros has two horns in the game whereas it only has one horn in reality. The Indian forest in which you tranquilize tigers, bears and rhinos can be assumed to be Kaziranga National Park
