. She was portrayed by actress Vanessa Lee Evigan

(Thad Luckinbill
), who she dumped as soon as she thought she could have a chance with Billy Abbott
(David Tom
), a son of another rich businessman. Brittany wasn't a good influence on Billy, who was trying to make his place in the company by pretending to be a party boy. Billy got alcohol poisoning on a party thrown by J.T., and neither J.T. nor Brittany attempted to call the ambulance, but Raul Guittierez
(David Lago
) came in time to save him.
At their prom, Brittany realized that Billy was attracted to Mackenzie Browning
(Ashley Bashioum
). Brittany was one of the teens chosen for the Glo By Jabot Kids campaign, and she used the opportunity to keep Billy for herself. She staged making love to Billy in order for Mac to walk in on them. Billy didn't remember anything, but the truth eventually came out when J.T. accidentally revealed it. Brittany was left alone, plotting for revenge. She used her fame at Jabot to publish Mac's real name on television to reveal her in front of everyone because she knew Mac was a runaway.
Brittany started hanging out more with Raul. Their close friendship blossomed into a passionate kiss. Raul was there for Brittany during her tough times, especially when her own parents couldn't make it to her play. Fearing that she might have let her feelings be seen by the world, Brittany dumped Raul and started dating J.T. again in order to hurt Raul. Raul's ex-girlfriend Rianna Miner (Alexis Thorpe
) returned to town just in time for prom, where she persuaded Brittany and Raul to start dating. After prom, the couple made love at a campsite. Their lives took a different path when they accepted colleges in different towns. They ended up in a car crash where Raul stayed paralyzed for months, while Brittany walked away with just a minor injury.
Raul blamed Brittany for the accident and dumped her then urged her to go to college, but she wasn't ready to leave town. Eventually the couple reunited, but Brittany's parents Anita (Mitzi Kapture
) and Frederick (John H. Martin
) didn't approve of their relationship, so they left Brittany without any money. She went to live in a cheap apartment with Raul and ended up getting robbed. They both moved back home temporarily before deciding to share an apartment with Mac and Billy.
The peaceful life started to bother Brittany, so she started working as a singer at a club owned by Bobby Marsino (John Enos III
). She refused to strip, but the crown encouraged her to and she actually felt okay with it. She got a lot of money for her performance and loved the attention that she was getting. J.T. followed her to work one day and discovered what she had been doing and it wasn't long after that Raul found out the truth. Brittany thought Raul wouldn't mind, but he broke up with her. The greatest shock came to Brittany's father when he went to the club with a couple of businessman and saw his daughter stripping. Bobby and Brittany started falling for each other, while Frederick asked Raul to help him bring down the club, but their set-up didn't last long. The mob bosses were angered by Frederick's set-up, so they decided to punish him by electrocuting Brittany on stage.
Brittany was told that her scars would never heal, but she found comfort in Bobby's arms. Just for his love, Bobby turned his club into a cabaret called Marilyn's, and got into trouble with the mob. They confronted Bobby but ended up in prison when he was revealed to be wearing a wire. Bobby and Brittany finally gave in to their passion even though nobody approved of their relationship. Raul found a plastic surgeon that was able to restore Brittany's face and left town. Brittany's parents were furious to learn she was getting married to Bobby, but they showed up at her wedding anyway. Still, they disowned her after that.
Brittany wasn't happy with Bobby becoming closer to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott
) so they moved away to a different apartment. Bobby borrowed money from the mob to finance their costs only to find himself the target of the mob once again. Brittany surprised everyone by saying that J.T. was the father of the baby she was carrying, but it was all a plot she hatched with Bobby so she wouldn't be hurt by the mob. At the same time of the mob attack, Brittany went into labor at the ranch and Mac helped her deliver her baby. Bobby was forced to go into a witness protection program while Brittany moved to Katherine Chancellor
's (Jeanne Cooper
) mansion. She waited for months to hear from Bobby and he finally returned for a brief period. She was informed later that Bobby was killed after a hit and run. Brittany decided to go live with her parents in New York.
