, playing for the New England Whalers as a member of their 1973 championship team, along with several other ex-Maple Leafs. He was traded to the Toronto Toros
the following year and played parts of two seasons before retiring.
Selby finished his NHL career with 55 goals and 62 assists for 117 points in 347 games, adding 74 points in 153 WHA games. He is a retired history teacher from North Toronto Collegiate Institute
