Local events

Each August, Boyne Falls hosts the annual Boyne Falls Polish Festival. The festival features many events including a rodeo, 3 on 3 basketball tournament, parade, amusement rides, a flea market, and the Mud Run. A large tent placed on the corner of Railroad st. and Center st. known as the "Beer Tent" is the location of most of the festivals nightly activities. Each evening the tent fills with patrons that come to listen and dance to a variety of polish music and entertainment.

The Festival is always held the first weekend in August.

Boyne Mountain is well known for their skiing and snowboarding. Many other fun filled activities happen at Boyne each year. In the month of March, Boyne has a Carnival Weekend, called Krazy Daze. This is when Mardi Gras moves north for the weekend. The events will exceed your wildest dreams. It time to party once again. There is live entertainment with outside cookouts and bars starting at the Snowflake lounge. They offer beer, wine, food and non alcoholic beverages. Many children's activities are scheduled. This weekend is a great time for the whole family.
