, the couple first met each other when they were three years old. They were married as college sophomores in 1970 and have four children. Their children Luke, Jake, and Rachel Thoene are also authors. Bodie holds a PhD in creative writing and Brock holds a PhD in history and a masters degree in education. They divide their time between London, Nevada or Hawaii.
