Individual Plan Projects / Schemes of the Unit keeping in view the general / specific guidelines
of the Government / Planning Commission in this regard. To periodically review the progress of Plan projects/ schemes and other important scientific/technical activities of the Unit and make suggestions for effective implementation.

It produces and supply a variety of radioisotope products including radiochemicals, labelled compounds of carbon-14 tritium and sulphur-35 and nucleotides labelled with phosphorus-32/ phosphorus-33, radiopharmaceuticals and RIA kits, radiation sources, gamma radiography equipment and gamma irradiator systems to users in the country and abroad.
