Bjarte Ludvigsen, a.k.a. Blue, is a record producer from Bergen, Norway. He started out as a drummer for the Norwegian-Grammy Award
winning band Poor Rich Ones
. In 1997, after working as a session musician for several years and as an assistant engineer at the recording studio Sigma recording, he started a recording studio named Tinnitus recording with Christer Hjelmeland. In the beginning they mostly helped up and coming artist develop their potential and recording skills, but later the studio also became popular with more established Norwegian artists.
In 2004, Bjarte Ludvigsen took over the company and is now the single owner of the studio.
In 2007, he produced and engineered William Hut's gold selling album Nightfall, and on this record he also did drums, keyboards and programming.

Bjarte Ludvigsen owns Bluenoise Plugins. The company aims to create useful and professional sounding plugins for the studio recoridng business. The first plugin released was MyDrumset (now Drummix) which has over 12 000 users worldwide. The software so far has been free but the company will release their first commercial software in mid 2011. Drummix, which is the full featured version of Mydrumset and Bandecho are some of the promising effects to come out of the company in the future.
Bjarte Ludvigsen has written seversal screenplays and was in 2010 signed to the company Woolf+Lapin for a story named The Divided Story.
