Bishop Hall Jubilee School was founded by the Sheung Kung Hui in 1961 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the consecration of the Rt. Rev. Ronald Owen Hall as the Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Hong Kong, Macao and South China. It is a co-educational government-subsidized EMI secondary school.

. Bishop Ronald Owen Hall was the Anglican bishop of Hong Kong
from 1932 to 1966. The school first used the campus of Heep Yunn School
. It was split up into two sections: Chinese Middle section and English section. There were 10 classes: 5 Form 1 classes (2 for Chinese Middle section and 3 for English section) and 3 Form 2 classes (2 for Chinese Middle section and 1 for English section) and 2 Form 3 classes (English section only). There was a total of 396 students. After the completion of the school campus in 1962, the school was relocated in 1962 to its present address in Oxford Road, Kowloon Tong.
The school has had four principals. The first principal was Mrs. Helen Wong, principal from 1961 to 1973. The second principal was Mr Chan Chee-Yum from 1973 to 2001. The third principal was Mr. Peter Kwok from 2001 to 2010. The present principal is Ms. Dorothy Pang who became principal in September 2010.
There have been over 7000 graduates of the school. Many alumni have embarked on distinguished careers as lawyers, doctors, university professors and members of the Legislative Council.
The completion of the school gymnasium, Students Activity Centre and the refurbished playground has made the implementation of the F.1 Physical Fitness Training and Aesthetic Development Scheme possible. The Helen Wong Hall was finished with acoustic panels and ceiling raising the standard of the sound and light systems. activities promoting performing arts have been organized. The Art Room has enabled us to make Visual Art our regular programme, which has been extended to all junior forms this year. In addition, the Library was built to provide a comfortable and spacious area for students to enjoy their reading. The Language Room, the English Corner and the Multi-purpose Room were built to aid students in learning languages.

The School Improvement Project was completed in 2006. New facilities include: Helen Wong Hall, Chan Chee Yum Activity Centre (Gym, equipped with a climbing wall, fitness equipment, a volleyball court and a badminton court), Library, Language Room, English Corner, Multi-purpose Room, Student Activity Centre (Music & Dancing Room), Art Room, Discipline & Guidance Room, Interview Rooms, Conference Room, Computer Assisted Learning Room, Staff Room and Staff Common Room.The completion of the school gymnasium, Students Activity Centre and the refurbished playground has made the implementation of the F.1 Physical Fitness Training and Aesthetic Development Scheme possible.
