 from 1974 to 1984. In May 2008, Diamond suffered from a stroke which left him paralysed completely on his left side. On November 21, 2008 he recovered and credits Jesus Christ for the restoration of his body. He is now able to stand and walk after being told by doctors he would never walk again, and he has full movement in his left arm again.

 Cree. On November 11, 1975, he signed The James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement with the Canadian government. With money from the settlement he created Air Creebec, Cree Construction Company Limited, and Cree Yamaha Motors.
