Bill Carr is a Canadian actor who is best remembered for his role as Possum Lodge cook and wannabe actor and singer Eddie Johnson on the second season of The Red Green Show
.
and even as a teenager played a very convincing and tender King Arthur. It may or may not be known that Carr has a wonderful, rich singing voice.
Carr studied philosophy, English and theatre at Acadia University, followed by three years of theology working on his Masters at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax.

. He has written and performed in numerous radio dramas for CBC and has made appearances on countless television programs, several movies and advertisements. In the 1980s, Carr performed regularly in a comedy review in Prince Edward Island with Donald Harron and his wife, Catherine McKinnon.
Bill was a regular weekly columnist with the Sunday edition of the Daily News
and hosted a talk show on Rogers FM called "Saturday Mornings with Bill Carr".
Carr's volunteerism in his community is extensive. He is the honorary spokesperson for the Alzheimer's Society and an honorary Trustee of the IWK Hospital for Children. He contributes his talents as a fundraiser for these causes appearing yearly on the IWK telethon as well as Master of Ceremonies for annual events in support of the IWK

Early life
Bill was born in Canada and spent his formative years in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. He was a member of the glee club at Colonel Gray Senior High School. While attending Colonel Gray, Carr won the lead in the play CamelotCamelot (musical)
