. Big Ed played basketball on scholarship for Eastern Washington University from 1992 to 1993. Big Ed left EWU to pursue his rap career in the Bay with Master P's No Limit Solidiers and the West Coast Bad Boy Clique. Big Ed came back to EWU in 1993 and brought the rest of the West Coast Bad Boys for a intimate concert in the EWU "Pub" in the winter of 1993. Throughout the 90s, Big Ed also appeared many of No Limit's other releases including Master P's 99 Ways to Die, Silkk the Shocker's The Shocker
