Prior to living in New Orleans, Bethany lived in Ft. Walton Beach and Destin

She quit her job working in a furniture store and began writing at age thirty, publishing her first book, Where's my mate? in 2006. Her first novel, Searching for Liberty, Grace and Destiny published in 2007. Her second novel, Secrets of an Undercover Agent published in 2008.
Bethany has toured hosting book signings around different parts of the United States
along with being featured on several radio shows. Her husband, Lucas Scanlon, has two Master's Degrees (Music Performance and Business Administration) from Rice University
in Houston.
