Beth Mowins is a play-by-play announcer and reporter for ESPN

Mowins was a basketball, softball and soccer player at Cicero-North Syracuse High School. She was captain of the varsity basketball team for two seasons at Lafayette College
. She graduated Lafayette with a BA in 1989, and Syracuse University
with a master's degree.
Mowins began her career 1991 as news and sports director for WXHC-FM Radio in Homer, NY.
She is one of the inductees for the 2009 Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame.
