in March 2003, and placed fourth runner-up. She later crowned Culberson as Miss Tennessee USA 2004, completing a unique sequence of three consecutive Miss America state titleholders winning Miss USA state titles in succession.
Hood, a graduate of Bradley Central High School graduated magna cum laude with a degree in public relations from Middle Tennessee State University
in May 2004. She was married to pageant photographer, Todd Killen, however that relationship ended in divorce. She wed her current husband, Andrew Fromm, on September 12, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee
