Bert Bailey

Albert Edward Bailey better known as Bert Bailey, was a New Zealand-born writer and actor best known for playing Dad Rudd on stage and screen.

Biography

Bailey was born in New Zealand and moved to Australia in 1871. He worked extensively in theatre as an actor before turning to play writing as well. Bailey wrote a number of popular plays in collaboration with Edmund Duggan
