Encyclopedia
The BeanCast Marketing Podcast is a production of North Carolina-based Cool Beans Productions, a division of marketing consultancy, The Cool Beans Group. The show is a weekly round-table discussion podcast that gathers advertising and marketing thought leaders to discuss industry issues and current events.

The show is hosted by Bob Knorpp who explained to Ad Age "I figure, you can tell people what you can do, or you can show them.". Bob Knorpp also hosts The Ad Age Outlook podcast since August 2010.

The first episode of The Beancast was recorded on April 13, 2008 and posted April 14, 2008. On May 26, 2009 they began releasing outtake episodes. A fun feature of the show is the drunk dial line, which Bob Knorpp encourages listeners to call when they've had a few too many. Calls to this line were included in the 2010 Year End Special #2.
