 to vacate his seat as he was deemed to be a national of the United Kingdom

 and could thus not be a sitting MP. Mr. Dramani however won a stay of execution on appeal. The case ended when the Court of Appeal decided that the plaintiff should have filed an electoral petition instead of a writ of summons.
