The school is split into 3 parts: Upper School (also known as High School
), Middle School (Junior High) and Lower School (Elementary School
) that includes Reception (Kindergarten
). The principals of the school divisions are Julie Hessler, Simon Walker, and Kathy Slocombe, respectively. The current director is Bryan Nixon.
BIS sponsors a wide variety of sports throughout the entire school year in 3 different sport "seasons." In the Fall, Cross-Country, Soccer, Volleyball

are offered competitively and Touch Rugby

lessons are provided for recreation. In the Winter, Basketball

Grades 9 and 10 study the Cambridge IGCSE
