Language
Baganga as part of the davao oriental Region uses the Southern Kamayo dialect. The Southern Kamayo is quite different from the Kamayo Dialect of Bislig Surigao Del Sur. Southern Kamayo is also spoken in Southern Lingig, Surigao del Sur; and in Cateel, Baganga, Caraga and some parts of Davao Oriental. It is also related to Surigaonon and Butuanon. Dialect variations are caused by mixed dialect communications between the Mandaya, Cebuano and other immigrants now living in the area. A prefix is added in most adjectives. Example: The word gamay in Cebuano (English: small) is gamayay in Baganga. But you can't use the "ay" prefix often, like for instance the word dako (English; big) is spoken as "bagas-AY" or "bagasay" instead of saying "dako-ay". dutayay (English very small)Saoquigue
Saoquigue is a home of isdayog the fish and coconut capital of Barangay. The present Barangay Chairman is Mr. balug. Their economic strength is agriculture. And it is subdivided into 8 puroks. This Barangay is a remote area because it's from the Municipality. in this barangay is lot of fish and coconut, that's why every people who live in this place the source income is about in fish and coconut. and also some of the business proprietor who live in saoquigue, that certain business/man/woman is differences business. some them are shop and marketing about buying copra and oling. and also there is a beer house/bar beautiful sexy ladies and also there is beach resort in saoquigue. that is a image in saoquigue if you can go their.- School

Mahan-ub is derived its name from the river "mahan-ub" . The present Barangay Chairman is Mr. Roy Aguilon Nazareno. Their economic strength is agruculture. And it is subdivided into 12 puroks(e, g; Olin, Catabuanan II, Banahao, Pagsingitan, Abuyuan, Coog, Mercedez, R. C., Kaputian, Kasunugan, Kati-han II, Bisaya). They celebrate their annual fiesta every June 13 which they adapt it from their idolized "patron" Señor San Antonio de Padua. This Barangay is a remote area because it's from the Municipality. They celebrate their araw ng Mahan-ub every June 11 the Carabao Festival. This place also can be called as a land of Native People.Barangay councilors
