Death

He died of liver cancer on August 27, 1998 aged 56. He was buried in Antipolo, Rizal.
His treatment of Cancer in the United States was not successful because his tumour in the liver got bigger. Instead of quitting his showbiz life, he continued to act until his condition got worse.
