Life

She attended the local music secondary school as well local music primary school in Bihać. She graduated in 1995. Kolaković even started a music academy, unfortunately she never managed to finish it due to the war that was going on in Yugoslavia

In 1997 she started her solo singing career. The first time she appeared on stage was in 1997 under her stage name Donna Ares to compete with her song in the Croatian Dora competition in order to represent Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest

. In the same year, Kolaković gained success with her song "Kazna" ("Punishment") in her hometown Bihać. Since then she produced songs like, "Ubila me tvoja nevjera" ("Your infidelity killed me") or "Idi Idi Moja Vilo" (Go on my fairy.) She is known to sing other songs like "Noćas mi srce pati" ("Tonight my heart hurts" by Silvana Armenulić
