. At seventeen, she was signed to her first record company, Phillips Fontana. She made appearances on various TV promotional shows such as Thank Your Lucky Stars and Discotheque. It was Granada TV's Producer Muriel Young
who hired Ayshea to present and star in her own pop show, Lift Off with Ayshea
in 1969. The series ran for 144 episodes until 1974.

Ayshea was a regular on TV celebrity shows such as The Golden Shot

. After starring in pantomimes and summer shows all over the UK, Ayshea then built up a large following for her live cabaret performances.
