Submissions

Since the Journal changed its platform in February 2009, submissions are made online through Manuscript Central. New users should first create an account; the Journals referees have had an account created for them in advance. Once logged on to the site, users should submit their papers via the Author Centre.

To ensure its integrity, the refereeing process for all unsolicited contributions to the AJP is double-blind: the names and institutional affiliations of authors are revealed neither to referees nor Associate Editors. Authors submitting articles, discussion notes and reviews are required to follow submission guidelines and style. Of approximately 700 submissions per year from across the globe, about 40 are selected for publication.
