It produces wide spectrum of audio visual materials (instructional media materials) ranging from low cost to high-tech and does computer related functions such as web designing and database programming which are intensely required for development of Agriculture in Sri Lanka

It has a toll free agriculture advisory service having the tel no. 1920 for providing answers for agriculture related problems over phone. Recently (2007.07.16) it has opened a new kind of sale point which gives plant saplings and indigenous food items for reasonable prices.
