Apptix was founded in 1997 after being spun off from TeleComputing ASA, of Oslo Norway. The company is headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, USA, with additional locations in Florida, Illinois, and Texas. Apptix is publicly traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange
