Antonio Domenico Seccareccia (b. October 16, 1990) is a classical and electric
Canadian-born guitarist, singer, electronic musician and composer. He started playing the guitar at
age 11, and was quickly acknowledged when at the age of 13 he won the Montreal
International Guitar Youth Competition, as well as successfully performing in other
competitions, such as the Canadian Music Competition and the regional Kiwanis Music festival. Antonio has performed at various festivals such as the http://www.festivalofthesound.ca/Festival of the Sound
] as well as actively participating in the summer
workshops at the Domaine Forget
in Quebec
between 2004 and 2007. Due to his connection with
KoSA International (under the direction of percussionist Aldo Mazza
),
he has played with some of the greats in the world of percussion, such as Dom Famularo
, Steve Gadd
, Bernard Purdie
, and Antonio Sanchez
(of the Pat Metheney Group). He currently attends
McGill University
in Montreal
, and has studied at Parsons The New School for Design
, Mannes College The New School for Music, New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts
in NYC where he was Manager for WNSR New School Radio. He has produced tracks for such artists as Flo Rida and other North American
pop artists. Antonio Seccareccia specializes extensively in Ableton Live

electronic music composing and performing.

at the age of 11 for Middle School. Focusing particularly on Mathematics and Physics Antonio won the Waterloo University mathematics competition. He then moved to Ottawa for High School to attend École secondaire publique De La Salle
for music concentration as a cellist. He also attended the Conservatoire de musique et d'art dramatique du Québec
under guitarist Patrick Roux. He has studied in Master Classes with such guitarists as Manuel Barrueco
, the Assad Brothers, Fabio Zanon, and Pavel Steidl
.
As a singer he has performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
for the Star Wars: In Concert
starring actor Anthony Daniels
(actor for C3P0 in Star Wars
).
He attended a year the University of Ottawa
under Patrick Roux before attending the The New School University in NYC.
At the New School University he studied Design and Technology (concentration on MaxMSP), Liberal Arts
and Music
. He will be studying with Jérôme Ducharme at the Schulich School of Music
of McGill University
in the Fall of 2011.
Antonio has also taken interest in movie scoring, scoring his first full short for the 2012 Miami Independent Film Festival.
