Andrea Benelli (born June 28, 1960) is an Italian
sports
shooter
and Olympic Champion. He won the gold medal in Skeet Shooting at the 2004 Summer Olympics
in Athens
, and also obtained a bronze medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics
in Atlanta.
Benelli is two times World Champion in Skeet Shooting, from 1987 and 1990. He obtained a silver medal in 1986, and a bronze medal in 1999.
Benelli runs his own Tourist Villa named Agriturismo Petrognano, located in Saint Ellero, Florence. It is a restored 18th-century farmhouse with a practice range behind it.
