The Amilcar C4 was a light sporting car designed for road use and made between 1922 and 1928 by the French Amilcar
company. It was powered by a 1043 cc four-cylinder engine with a bore of 58.0 mm (2.3 in) and stroke of 95.0 mm (3.7 in) with magneto ignition. Drive was to the rear wheels through a 3-speed gearbox. The chassis was a lengthened version of the one used on the CC
model and the suspension used semi elliptic leaf springs front and rear and friction type dampers were fitted. The coachwork was either by the factory or by external builders.
