Life and Early Career
Ambrose Price grew up in the small fishing community of Fortune, on the south coast of Newfoundland. Son of Ambrose and Greta Price, he is the youngest of six children. In 2004, his mother was diagnosed with cancer and Ambrose dedicated the next year of his life to her care – she died shortly thereafter. Realizing firsthand how life can be cut short, Ambrose decided to follow his dream, and pursue a career in interior design and event planning.Ambrose’s television career began in 2006 when he applied to be a contestant on HGTV’s Designer Superstar Challenge and was accepted.
