History(From 2000)

Originally, the Elementary was a group of classrooms that were apart from each other and there used to be a large auditorium connected to the old middle school, which is now demolished, although you can still see it on Google Maps.

Schools

  • Alvord High (grades 9–12) – They have a new Band Hall, which is attached to the western-most end of the school and was completed in the Fall and/or Winter of 2008.

  • Alvord Middle (grades 6-8) They have a new middle school that is complete, and was moved into on the Fall of 2009, with the 2008–2009 6th, 7th, and 8th graders having taken a trip to it, seeing as they'll (the 8th graders) will be moving up to high school this year.

  • Alvord Elementary (grades PK-5) Up until recently, Alvord Elementary did not have pre-school. They tried to once before, but as there weren't enough students to continue the program, they had to quit and continue it at a later time (2008-2009).
